Uttar Pradesh government to simplify law governing RERA
LUCKNOW: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday directed officials to simplify legal provisions related to corporate restructuring, limited Liability Partnership and real estate transactions under RERA, saying the he legal framework should be aligned with changing economic and business requirements.
Reviewing the functioning of the Stamp and Registration Department, the chief minister said, "In view of the rapidly growing economy, investment activities and urbanisation in Uttar Pradesh, the department should become more transparent, Technology-based, accountable and citizen- centric.
Registration offices are directly connected with the common people. Therefore,
their arrangements should be modern, organised and citizen-friendly," an official statement quoted the chief minister as saying.
